Step 1: Check that the timezones between the devices and the server are the same timezone.

That is likely the problem; our server uses an authentication scheme to prevent against replay attacks by forbidding requests that are more then a minute off from server time. If you set your clock to the current time or reenable network time updates on the device (mobile or desktop) that should fix the issue.
